I was introduced to pickleball while attending Ottawa University Arizona as a collegiate tennis player, where my doubles partner was future touring PPA professional Michael Loyd. What began as a curiosity quickly turned into a passion as I saw the strategic depth, athletic demands, and community-driven nature of the sport. Coming from a high-level tennis background, pickleball immediately resonated with me, and I committed myself to learning and mastering the game.

Since then, I’ve been fortunate to play an active role in growing pickleball across the Valley. My experience includes helping run pickleball programming and lessons at the Surprise Tennis & Racquet Complex, The Village at Camelback, Life Time Fitness, The Picklr, and The Wigwam, as well as serving as the Head of Pickleball at Arrowhead Country Club. In these roles, I’ve worked with players of all ages and skill levels—from complete beginners picking up a paddle for the first time to advanced competitors looking to refine strategy, shot selection, and consistency.

As a coach, my goal is to make pickleball both approachable and challenging, helping players build confidence while continually improving their game. I remain an active, high-level tournament player myself, which allows me to bring current strategies, modern techniques, and competitive insight directly into my coaching. Whether your goal is to learn the fundamentals, improve match play, or compete at a higher level, I’m passionate about helping you get there while enjoying the process along the way.
