I am a certified tennis instructor with over eight years of experience coaching players of all ages and levels, from beginners picking up a racquet for the first time to nationally competitive juniors and teams. I have spent four years as a college Assistant Coach for the Ottawa University Arizona (OUAZ) Men’s & Women’s tennis teams, where I helped lead the women’s program to their first national ranking (#20), NAIA Nationals appearance, and conference championship in school history. In addition to the collegiate level, I have previously served as the Head Coach for both Goodyear High School and Willow Canyon High School, developing competitive, disciplined, and confident student-athletes.

Throughout my coaching career, I have developed more than 50 Arizona Interscholastic Association (AIA) high school state qualifiers and helped numerous junior players earn college tennis scholarships to the NCAA and NAIA. I have coached USTA and WITL league teams across the greater Phoenix area, including teams that advanced to the USTA National Championships, as well as being selected to coach USTA national-level clinics. My coaching philosophy is centered on long-term player development, strong fundamentals, and creating an environment that is both challenging and enjoyable—helping every player reach their goals while building a lifelong love for the game.

My playing background includes extensive experience at the junior, high school, and collegiate levels. As a junior, I was nationally ranked and consistently ranked in the top 10 in the state of Arizona, competing against many of the strongest players in the Southwest. My junior career laid a strong foundation built on high-level competition, disciplined training, and a deep understanding of match play and strategy.

At the high school and collegiate levels, I achieved significant competitive success. I won the 2017 AIA State Doubles Championship while representing Millennium High School and earned third place finishes in the same event in 2016 and 2015, along with being named the 2017 Section Player of the Year. At Ottawa University Arizona, I became the program’s all-time leader in match wins for both singles and doubles, achieving a top-50 national ranking in singles and a top-25 national ranking in doubles within the NAIA. These experiences shape the way I teach the game—bringing real match-tested insight, high-level strategy, and a competitive mindset into every lesson.
